As a Car Delivery Driver at our Atlanta, GA (Poncey-Highland) store located at 700 Cleburne Terrace, Atlanta GA 30306, you are our “Boots on the ground!”, and the main face that our Insomniacs see outside of the bakery! You give the word “Delivery” a whole new meaning by delivering the Cookie Magic to our fans wherever they are. SOME OUR SWEET DELIVERY DRIVER PERKS:·       Pay on Demand (why wait until the end of the week…get paid your earned wages at the end of the day!)·       Small but busy delivery zones·       Paid vacation and sick time off·       Flexible part-time work schedules·       Pet insurance for your furry loved ones·       Job stability with a rapidly growing and reputable company·       Achievable growth/promotion opportunities·       FREE cookies with every shift! WHAT WILL I DO AS A DELIVERY DRIVER?·       Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.·       Deliver our cookies, milk and ice cream to our loyal fan base, in a timely and safe fashion.·       Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers whether in-person or by phone.·       Use Insomnia’s delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers. DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:·       Excellent time management and organizational skills·       Knowledge of the 2-mile radius surrounding the store is a plus!·       Must have your own car, license, valid registration, and valid insurance·       Must be able to pass a motor vehicles background check·       Must have a smartphone with data plan·       Must be legally eligible to work in the United States·       Must be 18 years or older to be employed

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Every shift is a little different, but you can expect to:

• Welcome every guest with genuine hospitality and make every interaction memorable.
• Prepare, bake, and package our warm cookies, brownies, ice cream, and other treats to Insomnia's quality standards.
• Accurately prepare in-store, pickup, delivery, and online orders.
• Operate the register and process guest transactions.
• Keep the bakery clean, stocked, organized, and food-safe throughout every shift.
• Jump in wherever your team needs you, whether that's restocking supplies, helping a teammate, or keeping the line moving.
• Resolve guest concerns with empathy and urgency, partnering with your Shift Leader when needed.
• Deliver the kind of experience that turns first-time guests into lifelong Insomniacs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to obtain any required food safety certifications applicable to the location
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Physical Requirements

This position regularly requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift).
• Frequently reach, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and lift.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds regularly.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Use hands and fingers to handle bakery equipment, food products, and a point-of-sale system.
• Work in environments with varying temperatures, including around ovens, freezers, and refrigeration units.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment in accordance with company procedures.
• Read order screens, recipes, and safety information.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This position works in a fast-paced bakery environment that includes frequent interaction with guests, exposure to heat from ovens, refrigerated storage areas, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels. Evening, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts are a regular part of the business.

Schedule Expectations

Our bakeries are busiest during evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Team Members should have availability during these peak business hours. Scheduling needs vary by location.
